philosophy

Our goal at Nana’s Little Elephants Child Development Center/ Phase II is to help each and every child feel good about themselves by building their self-esteem! The love, understanding, and care your child receives from Nana’s Little Elephants Child Development Center/ Phase II will also help reinforce positive self-image. Every child is treated with respect and dignity. In doing so we will teach the children to behave and respond in a positive manner. In order to meet these goals all our facilitators at Nana’s Little Elephants Child Development Center/ Phase II are required to take continuing education classes through DSS every year.

parent communication

Daily, each parent will receive a verbal update about his/her child’s day. Parents are encouraged to ask questions or make suggestions/comments. Nana’s Little Elephants Child Development Center/ Phase II has an open-door policy, and we encourage parents to call or come by at their convenience.

Parents are informed of activities of the center through the Communication board on the home page of this website or by written notice.

Parent commitment to our center is important as we commit to the personal development of your child. We ask that parents attend conferences, support fundraisers, and volunteer for field trips. All funds are received in such events will be used to enhance child learning through hands-on, visual and play.
